I am a Ph.D student at University of California San Diego. I am very fortunate to work with Professor
Amy Ousterhout. My research interests span operating systems, computer networks and cloud computing.
My current research focuses on building efficient and high-performance datacenter systems.
Two examples of my research are
Aspen (which addresses head-of-line blocking)
and
xUI (a fast notification mechanism, applicable to scheduling, accelerators, and network libraries).
I received my bachelor's degree in computer science from
ACM Honored Class of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU).
I interned at Professor
Dong Xie's Database System Group at Penn State University, and researched on serverless computing in SJTU EPCC lab, advised by Professor
Quan Chen.
Also, I won three gold medals (one first runner-up) in ACM-ICPC Asia regional contests.
